Turning NFT Into Characters: My DOGS Origins Experiment

I didn’t plan to build another NFT collection.

I decided to build a story.

Recently, I started an experiment:
100% of the profit from my comic series goes into buying floor NFTs from the DOGS Origins collection.

But not just to hold them.

Each NFT I buy becomes a character — an “actor” inside the comic.

From Assets to Actors

Most people treat NFTs like assets: buy → hold → sell

I want to flip that logic.

For me, each NFT is:
— a personality
— a visual identity
— a role in the story

That’s how a static image becomes part of something alive.

Right now, I’ve already started collecting characters like #20 and #50 — and they will appear in future episodes.

Building a Closed System

This is not just a comic.

It’s a loop:

1. I release a new episode
2. It generates revenue
3. Revenue goes into buying new NFTs
4. New NFTs become characters
5. Story expands

Everything feeds itself.

Why This Matters

Most NFT projects stop at visuals.

I’m trying to build a system where:
NFT → becomes content
content → becomes story
story → creates demand

Not speculation.

Narrative.

What’s Next

A new episode has just been released, and all proceeds will go into expanding the cast.

At the same time, I’ll be adjusting pricing for existing characters.
